USF or Mcgeorge Transfer Question

Hi all.

Ive been accepted to USF and Mcgeorge for class 2012. My ultimate goal is to transfer up to Santa Clara or Hastings. I currently live in SF and want to practice law in SF, NOT Sacramento, I also would rather not move there for 1-3 years.

My question is: assuming i place top 10% at either of these schools 1L, which one, if there is a difference, would give me a better shot at transferring up to SCU or Hastings?

If i fail to transfer, but still place top 10% at either of these schools, which would be a better choice for job prospects (particularly corporate IP or International IP) in the Bay Area? I know Mcgeorge is a better school, but is the proximity of USF a stronger determinant?

dont assume that youll be in the top 10%. youre 90% wrong to assume that.

go to USF for bay area if usf and uop are your choices.

If (big if) you actually do make top 10% at USF, do not transfer to SCU if you want to work in SF.

USF and Mcgeorge both go up and down almost every year.

Scroll down and check out the rankings in past years.

You should consider COL, tuition, scholarship info too.

will you be paying sticker for USF? housing around that area is pretty expensive compared to Mcgeorge

COL is expensive, but you can always live a bit further from the school for cheaper (off course nothing compared to sac..) Pending your willingness to ride the public transportation and travel long distance to USF...

Are you getting $$ from any of the schools?
