Hi,
My hopes are:

Berkley
Fordham
UVA
Columbia

I know these all reach but I would rather not go Law School than settle for less. I think I have very different background than most Law School applicants and that is what I bet on the most. What do you guys think?

I would guess out at all of them except maybe WL/in at Fordham.

Study and retake the LSAT. With a 165 or better you'll like the responses you get far more than with a 162.

Agreed. You've got a very pretty GPA, I think it'd be worth it to do some hardcore studying and retake, unless you think a 162 is the best you can do.

I just retook yesterday and not very excited to get my score. I am even thinking of canceling. That's it for me as far scores go. So you guys definitely think no go at Berkley? Thanks to everyone who responds; I know I am prob asking for too much.

I have tons of softs besides CPA, BIG4 and Masters, Honors Program, 12 articles publication. Thanks again.

You can give it a try, but I imagine it's very rare that a 162 can make it into Berkeley without being a URM. That is well below the 25%. If you didn't apply yet, it's even worse since Berkeley likes early applications. Good luck wherever you decide to apply.

Misinformation. Berkeley's LSAT 25% is 164. A 162 does not qualify as well below the 25%. The odds are stacked against almost everyone who applies to Berkeley.

2 points is well below the 25% when you are talking about numbers like that, especially for a non-URM. There are 7,000+ applicants and I'm sure many of them have high GPA's. If you want to show me a decent number of people who get in with that LSAT score, you can. Otherwise I stand by my comment.

This is last year by the way - no 162's listed.
