UCLA used to rank top 15 amongst law schools, though have seen vaguely articles articulating it has even become the new top 14. regardless of rankings, many still don’t deem it top 14 apparently.

It is still fiercely competitive for admissions nonetheless.

Took lsat early 2024 and received a 178.

5-10 years ago it also seems a 2.9/178 could get into gulc or northwestern but haven’t seen anyone recently state they landed admission with those credentials.

Could a 178/2.9 get admitted to ucla by flip of a coin? Or not likely either

Sub-3.0 is unfortunately a death warrant for graduate schools in the UC system. Like, they'd need special permission from the dean or whatever to consider your file
