Chances at 3.15 GPA 177 LSAT

Post by avalautet » Sun Jul 04, 2021 3:59 pm

Looking at T-14, hoping for scholarships.
7 years out of undergrad, my masters GPA is 3.8. I plan on writing an addendum about my undergrad GPA (unfortunate circumstances, not a C&F problem).

I'm half Samoan and half white, so not URM(?)

The splitter life is v confusing, y'all.

That's a good question. I'm not sure if Samoans have seen a boost, so you might get lucky and see some better results than you expect.

But regardless, you should see some T13 admissions with your numbers, and I would usually expect you to land some scholarships in the lower T13. There's still a big question-mark about whether this will be a repeat of last cycle, in which case your high LSAT may not be as valuable as it has been in the past.

Because you're a relatively severe splitter, I would suggest shooting applications outside the T13. Assuming that I'm right about your chances, a large T20 scholarship could give you a bargaining chip.

Echo what cav said and make sure to apply broadly. Someone will bite somewhere.
