I graduated undergrad from a T5 public school with a 3.11 GPA (lowered by medical issues), have an MS Finance from a T25 business school (T14 law) with a 3.9 GPA, and scored a 178 on the LSAT.
What are my odds for HYS? Would I be competitive for scholarships at lower T14?
Thanks guys.

HYS are basically a non-starter with that GPA. You should get some T14 bites, maybe money too, but I wouldn't expect a large scholarship from any T20 besides WashU.

Unless there’s been a huge change in competitiveness over the last couple of years, I think the above take is too pessimistic. Yes, HYS is probably out, but apply broadly across the T14 and I bet you get some big scholarship offers. Can’t say in advance from where, which is why you need to cast a wide net and be ready to negotiate.

This is fair. Re-reading my post, the word "expect" is doing a lot of work thereDcc617 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 1:32 amUnless there’s been a huge change in competitiveness over the last couple of years, I think the above take is too pessimistic.
