LSAT: 170
uGPA: 3.5
1-2 years of work experience in a quasi-government role
Softs are pretty basic (e.g., founded a club, leader in other student organizations, speaking multiple languages)
AA female
I am retesting in November hoping to pick up a few points.
Also, I'm nervous this cycle may be super competitive. :/

You should have decent options if you blanket the T14, but splitter cycles are hard to predict so I wouldn't get too hung up on any one school. 170/URM is a combo that might attract some big scholarship money. Good luck!

I think you'll probably end the cycle with an H admit and a few 3/4-full rides in the T10. Outside shot at Y/S depending on your Nov. LSAT. Apply everywhere in the T13 to maximize your scholarship negotiation leverage!
This cycle probably will be pretty competitive, so you should use your early mover advantage. You can submit your apps now and update schools with your Nov. LSAT when you receive it. Or you can wait to submit when you have the new score. If you choose the latter option, you should have everything completely ready to go so when you get your new score all you have to do is click submit on your apps.
Also, make sure you request fee waivers everywhere. Good luck!
