I have not really explored schools too much and am not sure where I stand. I have explored myLSN somewhat but I am wondering whether I have a realistic chance at any of HYS, being at or below the 25th percentile GPA and at the 75th LSAT for Harvard and having not very good softs.

Lol what do you mean by "T4 softs"? Plenty of people at T4 schools have awesome soft factors, and plenty of people at top 6 schools are unimpressive other than their numbers. Unless you have no recommenders or some C&F issues, I don't think the unimpressive nature of your non-LSAT/GPA credentials will hurt you outside the top couple schools, where it's hard to predict what kind of things make a difference for someone with your numbers.

You have a decent but not awesome chance at YSH, but better at H, and I think you're likely to get good outcomes from the rest of T14. If you can afford the time, I'd apply to all of the T14 to maximize options, because you're a splitter and different schools are likely to treat your application differently (and unpredictably).

T4 softs doesn't mean "top 4 law school softs" ... it means "fourth tier softs", as in unremarkable

same stats as you and applied this cycle, so brief recap + some tips below.

will be attending a CCN with $.5 unless I get off the HLS waitlist.

that said, probably could’ve had a tighter/more cohesive narrative that may have pushed me over the edge at Y or H. Don’t think I had any chance at S though with the GPA, and accordingly was rejected there in first wave. made it to the end at Y though so definitely at least got to faculty review.

as to lower t14 - was waitlisted everywhere, but also didn’t have great reasons to go anywhere that wasn’t CCN (was my goal anyway unless I’d have gotten a full ride elsewhere). would recommend coming up with some strong reasons if you want to avoid YP. lack of narrative cohesion here could’ve also been a factor... but still definitely need to show real interest anywhere below NYU.

Thanks for the reply. If I may ask, did you get into Berkeley Law or UVa? I'm liking their program strengths and am considering applying. Any scholarship?

You definitely have a chance everywhere. I had almost identical stats and got into Y. I had some work experience too, but I would say not the strongest softs around. Throw your hat in the ring and see what you get. If your heart is set on YHS and you don’t get it, it might be worth grabbing some WE and then reapplying. But I think you will get at least one, though it’s not guaranteed by any means (because it isn’t for anyone).
