Hi all,
I am a 2016 JD graduate from a Top 30 law school. 50% class rank with good grades in tax classes:
Income Tax - B
Corporate Tax - A
Business and Tax Planning - A
Partnership Tax - A-
Transactional Drafting Tax - A-
Post graduation I did 1 year 5 months federal clerkship with a bankruptcy court. Was recruited to a midsize commercial firm and has been practicing business bankruptcy for over a year. I loved my tax classes and always wanted to do tax. I don't see myself as a litigator material for the long run either. So I am considering getting a tax llm and transfer to tax. I am in TX right now. In the future would like to relocate to Southern California. Would like your help on my chances of getting into NYU. Thanks!!!
