What do I need on the LSAT?

Hey, so here is the situation.

I have already completed my applications, but am retaking the LSAT in January. I am still applying this cycle.
- My first LSAT I scored a 165
- GPA of 3.26 (STEM major if that makes any difference)

How much would I need to increase my LSAT to give me reasonable chances at the T14? Very interested in Northwestern, but have applied to most of the T14. I was thinking maybe 169+ could give me decent shot of getting maybe one accept?

Any feedback is appreciated

With a GPA below the T13s' 25%, you'll want an LSAT above the school's 75% to compensate. For Northwestern (and I'd say generally for any of the T13), that means a 171+. A 169 would only put you at Northwestern's 50% LSAT so it'd be a long shot with a 3.26 GPA.

This is assuming you aren't a URM.

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks for the feedback!

Happy to help. Pretty much, try to do as well as possible on the LSAT. Once you have a score, go to MyLSN and put in your numbers to see which schools (and scholarships) you're competitive for.

Best wishes!
