LSAT: 156, 160, 161
Spent 1 year at CC and 3 years at top 20 as Biochemistry major (graduated this past may). LSAC gpa: 3.5, but my gpa at T20 was 3.2
NC Resident interested in patent law

I think at this point chapel hill is my best bet, right? their median stats are 161/3.56

employment data looks good: http://www.law.unc.edu/career/employmentdata/ $130K median $155K top quarter last year, probably most working in charlotte/durham area

also, what about wake? I'd rather go to UNC for the tuition and area but what do you think

The numbers they have on their website are... misleading. Only a small percentage of their graduating class - 20%, maybe 25% - is making $100k+. The 50th percentile salary for the 57% of 2017 UNC grads who reported salaries, according to LST, is $70k. So basically, probably only the people who got decent jobs are reporting their salaries and that's driving up the median. Those who didn't get Big Law are probably making somewhere between $40-70k. It's just that 20-25% that's making six figures. You should probably consider retaking the LSAT if those reported salaries are what made you want UNC, especially if you think you can do better than a 161. You probably won't make that much coming out of UNC, and I wouldn't advise taking out a bunch of loans to go there under the assumption that you will make six figures and pay it off.
