I was on academic probation at my university, forcing me to take a year off. I have a 3.25 UGPA (3.35 counting Community college courses) and a 179 on the LSAT. I have 2 years WE. given the GPA and probation, do I have any chance at CCN?

mylsn.info is still your friend's friend. The probation will be okay if explained with a decent addendum (was the academic probation strictly performance, and if so, what caused that performance?).

Edit: Having done a broad search on mylsn to try to increase sample size, marginal shot at Columbia and NYU, not much shot anywhere else in CCN. Somewhat decent money at lower T13 possible. Still a really small sample size, but that's what you get with super splitters.

Thanks! Yes, performance - as per her: "Honestly, procrastination. My anxiety was bad; I didn't get how to juggle the 5 million things I had to do (especially as a first gen college student), and thus underperformed. I've worked 60 hour weeks in an intellectually challenging field for 2 years, and am very far past that hurdle."

Got into Columbia with a worse GPA and a lower LSAT (current 2L) but admissions have gotten tougher. My recommendation is to apply early in the cycle with Why X essays to every school. Applying this cycle would be more rough.

Retake.

If unwilling to retake, then apply to all law schools in the top 14 or top 15.

Much of your success or failure among Columbia, Chicago, NYU and , possibly, Harvard will be due to your law school PS (personal statement).

Are you high. Why would anyone retake a 179

P.S. In answer to your other question: no.

You do not have 179 LSAT. You just sitting and trying to reconcile your life. Because you know you screwed. And you are thinking "Hey its just logic and games, I can master it, I sure can get 180, but I will be modest and write 179".

My advice. Dont waste your time. And yes, I am splitter. And no, you are not

Yeah, you might have a chance. Honestly, I would just apply to every school you can and see what happens. You can't really do much to your LSAT; not that it would matter. Try to perfect your application materials and see what happens. Good luck!
