GPA: 3.93
LSAT: cancelled, 169, 172
HYP Undergrad
mediocre softs
The sample size on myLSN is much too small for me to get a sense of where I stand, and I'm sure taking the LSAT three times will count against me. So I was wondering if any of you know how other AA (or URM) applicants with similar stats have fared in previous cycles.

I'm not speaking from a position of experience, but I don't see how you don't do ridiculously well this cycle.

Tough to chance anybody at Yale. Just perfect your application and apply. There is not much more you can do rather than retake, but your LSAT is already so good that waiting the time period to take again for 1 more point would be rather annoying.

It's hard to know with YLS, but I would be surprised if you didn't get in. there are probably less than 10 applicants total with a similar profile (AA, 3.9, and 170+) applying this cycle. No need to retake. In any given year there are only around 60 AA aplicants with a 3.5+ and a 165+.

You should have good chances this cycle (reading previous cycles threads). I'd bet you'll be one of maybe a handful of AA applicants with low 170s/~4.0 stats in the country. If YLS is that selective, then I'd like to review it's diversity statement.
Nothing's guaranteed obviously but just focus on applications.
