Ah. In that case, you still have a great LSAT! But you should retake. I would say that you do have a shot at B even without the retake, but that will depend on how your final application materials look. I would apply this cycle and see how it goes. Do you have $$ to burn (i.e., will someone be paying the cost of LS for you, or will you be taking loans out?)lawschoolgirl312 wrote:sorry,

I don't know. I wouldn't be shocked if you got into B though. You will likely be waitlisted from most--or all--of the T14. I would definitely keep expressing your interests in your reach schools, especially during the summer (i.e., June and July).lawschoolgirl312 wrote:so I really really cant re-take it. do you think applying early at Berkeley will help my chances?
You can. You are literally making a life-changing decision that is awful if you dont. Unlike the other poster, I dont think you will get accepted from Berkeley. You are below everyone's medians at the t13. You aren't an URM, you are an overrepresented person without really good softs. You need to retake.lawschoolgirl312 wrote:so I really really cant re-take it. This test has already sucked away my life and soul for the last two years

Is the reason you can't retake because you feel you've maxed out your potential in those two years of studying? Have you tried different approaches and methods to studying for it? Have you read up on study methods in the LSAT forum?lawschoolgirl312 wrote:so I really really cant re-take it. This test has already sucked away my life and soul for the last two years

They're just more holistic, black box-like for a lower T13, and when the candidate doesn't satisfy that holistic review, rely heavier on higher GPAs instead of LSATs. I got in to B with a lower GPA than OP and a slightly higher LSAT, and it probably wasn't either number that got me in.A. Nony Mouse wrote:Doesn't Berkeley favor high GPAs?
Yeah last year's median GPA was a 3.79 for Berk.A. Nony Mouse wrote:Doesn't Berkeley favor high GPAs?
