I just want to work in Big Law AKA go to the best school that I can get into. I'm from New York but I really don't care where I end up as long as it is a major city. Should I ED to any schools (debt isn't an issue as my grandparents are paying)? At the same time, I don't want to lose scholarship opportunities.

If your goal is biglaw you really should retake. You have a shot at UT, Vandy, UCLA and WUSTL but those schools won't even offer you a 50/50 shot at biglaw.

You should really, really consider retaking. Right now, your best shot is at schools that place about half or fewer grads into biglaw and you might be locking yourself out of the T13. Just another couple points starts changing the calculus. Maybe ED to Michigan is your best option since you hit their LSAT median.

Well, since you already know the right thing to do and refuse to do it, I can't figure out why you bothered to ask for advice. But if you absolutely refuse to retake, I thought of a novel solution:

Go back in time and don't fuck up your undergraduate GPA. Should be pretty simple. If you can't manage reverse time travel, then you need to retake the LSAT, because your GPA is going to require a higher LSAT score to get you in the T13 (which is where you need to go for your goals).

Would it be risky not to ED to Cornell or Georgetown as, while their median LSATs are only 167, they still waitlist plenty of 168 LSATers?

I realize retake is the answer but I'm happy to take my chances at LS with my current score. Just curious for what my optimum move should be. Thanks.

If you know your optimum move is retaking, stop asking what your optimum move is.

Your not-at-all-optimum move is to apply to the T20 and see if you get a bite, but with that GPA, Cornell or Georgetown are far from sure things. You certainly won't be getting money at either.
