it matters with regard to 25/50/75 percentile. those numbers are what matter to schools. if the point puts you at or above one of those numbers, then yes it will matter. if the schools 75th was 168, then it will likely matter a lot less. ultimately though, you're not really gonna know.

Ask your school for more money. If you're not interested in Harvard, then that is by far the best option

With a 3.85/171 I'll still be just below both of H's medians. You don't think its too much of a long shot? Or are you recommending a fourth LSAT take?
No, I'm saying that your current school is probably still your best option, assuming you aren't interested in risking not getting back into your current school for a 40% chance at Harvard or dropping down in the rankings for more money.
