2.0 165 LSAT any chance of going to law school?

I have looked at various threads and I feel I don't fit the mold of most law school applicants. I am almost 30 years old I have been out of college for almost 6 years. I have work experience in the benefits field, banking, and law firm settings. I took the LSATs and got a 165 which I was happy with. My college days were nothing but awful not only a 2.0 GPA that just barely let me graduate but, having to work and some family issues it was an up hill battle. I live in South Carolina and would love to go to USC Columbia. I have two lawyers who I work for who would give me great personal recommendations and they are also alumni there. Any input is helpful as I am still on the fence on if i should just follow my dreams to become a lawyer or have my heart broken. Thanks

As long as you're comfortable practicing locally, then you can probably find a school that will take you. But you'll have to try and find a school that will offer a substantial scholarship with those goals in mind.

I got into some schools with similar stats. Go ahead and submit your application to USC and some others that might interest you. With a 165 you might get some scholarship offers as well. I stayed in the 40-70 USNEWS ranking range and got accepted to half of the places I applied to.
