Go to a top public (name in my username). Chemical Biology/CS Minor (dept average GPA is like 3.1 or 3.2 I think). Asian American. Not really sure if this is relevant but did a couple big pharma internships and am second author on a paper.

I would blanket the T14 minus YHSC (unless fee waivers are provided). Your GPA pretty much bars you from the HYS bunch, but you still might be able to cut it at Chicago. Their LSAT median is the lowest of the three, and their 25th percentile is the lowest by a considerable margin. Unfortunately, your science background isn't going to make your chances with a 3.5 any better than a kid with a 3.5 who majored in underwater basketweaving. If you want to do IP legal work, then your STEM background may still be useful. You can write your personal statement explaining why you want to be a lawyer with specific examples/lessons that you took away from your internships and time as a STEM student.
As for scholarships, you should get a good deal of money from the lower T13. Once you get into the middle/top range, money will become much more inconsistent with your stats.

I would say apply to Harvard down, especially if your GPA is on the better side of the 3.5 number. If you finish with something like a 3.58 (assuming you are still finishing up school), you have a really good shot at both Harvard and Chicago. Otherwise, I would say in at Columbia down, with an okay sholarship from NYU and around 100k+ from UVA down,

You would have about a 25-30% BigLaw chance. You will absolutely not get a full ride, but around 50% is somewhat probable. Idk how Berkeley law caters to their undergrads, but that may actually be your best shot if they favor UG's.

Really? I'd think that a 175 would be worth more than half tuition at UCLA/USC. I got half-tuition offers at a bunch of T14 schools with a 173/3.6.

I would have thought so too, until I looked up the numbers and then couldn't find anyone with even a 50% offer with a GPA under 3.6. Just wanted to give him realistic expectations.
People with 175/4.0 are only getting 110k (3/4 tuition) at UCLA and there were a few 173/3.4-3.6 at USC getting 105k (~60% tuition).

I just couldn't let these painful two sentences go. Couldn't you have just said Berkeley flat out?

This seems pretty bizarre to me. I am in at USC with 2/3 scholarship (120k) 164/3.9x

Seems bizarre, but all four of these got offered 105k this cycle:

I did not mean to imply that I didn't believe you. I simply meant that USC is a bit confusing in terms of their scholarship offers. I would never expect to have more money than a candidate with an LSAT 9+ points above mine.

Fight on... i guess

Although that has happened it is not very likely. A lot of people on the forums have worse stats and got better money offers lol. Plus big law is 40%. All OP needs to do is make sure is personal statement and all that are solid.
