Being at 25th GPA and 75th LSAT

Just wondering as a general rule if you are exactly at or very close to last years 25th GPA percentile and 75th LSAT percentile for a school how likely are you to be admitted. Is it closer to a lock or 50/50? Since USNews only takes medians in account for rankings are the past year's percentiles pretty arbitrary when it comes to admissions? For what its worth, the main school I am considering applying to does not show up on mylsn.info for whatever reason.

It depends on the school and how splitter-friendly they are. Some schools (i.e. Berkeley) place more weight on GPA than others. Other schools, (i.e. UVA) will take someone with an LSAT over their 75th and a GPA well below the 25th. It just depends on what their strategy is for gaming the medians.

Good to know, thanks for the info

You never know. I would even take it a step further and say apply anyway. The only thing the school can say is no. That is if you are able to get a fee waiver because the process does get costly. I say try your hand and see what happens.

This was me for most of the t14 (LSAT about 75th, GPA around 25th). My cycle was all over the map.
Just apply broadly and then drink a lot until you hear back.
