maaaybe WUSTL because of the LSAT. They love splitters I hear. Also try Vandy, UCLA, USC etc. I would retake personally because if you get into those schools you'll be going at close to full price which is no fun. WE and softs might help with admission but their impact on scholarships will likely be negligible.mikemike10 wrote:I've gained so much helpful insight from this site and these type of posts. Wanted to make my first direct request.
What are my best chances with a 166 & 2.8 gpa? I have a really strong softs and 3 years of WE. Is there any T11 to T20 schools I have a chance at??
Not to shit on your post, but OP isn't a splitter at WUSTl - a 166 is below their median.dm1683 wrote:maaaybe WUSTL because of the LSAT. They love splitters I hear.mikemike10 wrote: 166 & 2.8 gpa
Checked LSN and dammit, you're right: their median is 167. I guess I just figured (s)he'd have a shot because I'be heard of people with 3.4/168 getting full rides there.guybourdin wrote:Not to shit on your post, but OP isn't a splitter at WUSTl - a 166 is below their median.dm1683 wrote:maaaybe WUSTL because of the LSAT. WUSTL is a very particular case - their median last year was actually a 168, which is the highest among non-T14 schools (and higher than some T14 schools). It's obviously very difficult for a T20 to hold such a high median, so they have to give out full rides.dm1683 wrote:Checked LSN and dammit, you're right: their median is 167. 167s we're still getting like 3/4ths tuition. I don't know if wustl will be able to maintain that LSAT. 168 is high! I wonder if they were going to break t1701panm wrote:WUSTL is a very particular case - their median last year was actually a 168, which is the highest among non-T14 schools (and higher than some T14 schools). If you don't have a 168 then you're a lot less valuable to them.
