157 twice. 4.05 LSAC cum. GPA, 4.12 major GPA (LSAC)/summa cum laude from a university of california campus.

interned for a legal aid - 3yrs.
multiple legally related internships.

student involvements strong
non-urn but didn't grow up in the US/ mid-eastern (dual citizen) - mentioned in my statement.

placed on reserve on Cornell ED recently, what are my chances?

applying to USC, Cornell, BU, BC, GW, WU, UCLA, and a bunch of safety schools.

Safety schools don't exist for law school. You need to attend a school that gives you a good shot of achieving your goals at a reasonable price.

Yeah, your career goals are fairly important here. Unless they're "work in a generic mid-sized firm or local government", you owe it to yourself to not waste that GPA.

The general consensus on TLS is less than 170=retake so you're about to get a thousand comments telling you to retake.

The general consensus is to retake until you have a score that allows you to go to a school that will let you achieve your goals at a price you can pay off.

Now, because most people don't come here asking about which school is going to let them practice at their local personal injury firm in Middle-of-Nowhere, Ohio, most people get the advice to retake until they have a relatively high score. That shouldn't be surprising. What is surprising is that with the wealth of threads on the subject, people still keep coming here asking about their chances with a 154/3.0 and telling us they want to practice in a big law firm.

I'm not one to hop on the retake train, but if you are capable of a 4.00+ GPA, you are either hardworking or smart. Maybe both. Not to mention people with high GPAs are usually grade conscious and want their work to accurately reflect their abilities/skills. And I'd argue that LSAT doesn't reflect you accurately.

With your GPA there is no need to pay a bunch for law school OR attend any school that isn't a top school.

I have a pretty high GPA, though not as high as yours. And I myself this past summer got really bummed about the LSAT. I wasn't improving quickly and the September date was looming over my head and quickly approaching. Someone older and wiser than me messaged me on this forum and told me to look towards the future and imagine myself in 10 years. Did I see myself happy that I settled for a low LSAT score, likely having attended a non-T14 w/debt, and possibly without a decent job? Or would I have wished I took a year off, got some work experience, and studied for a high score, and got into a T6 w/ some $ ?

I also learned that my 3.9x GPA wasn't worth shit without a high LSAT. I didn't really know that when I first started prepping.

I'm currently working and studying for the June 2017 LSAT. It sucks sitting out this cycle, but I know it is for the best.

Only practice in timed, 35-minute blocks. Focus on perfecting logic games (via PDFs of sections). Use scantrons during this practice.
