This is a difficult one. Could really rest on how many years you've been out of school, what your GPA addendum looks like, how much higher you score on your retake and what your submission looks like.

Its definitely not inconceivable that you receive some money, especially if you break 170. For right now, the best you could do is study hard for the September LSAT (that's the one I'm assuming you're taking) and see where the cards fall from there. You could hit the same score, lower, or maybe bang out a 175. That retake might make all the difference. However, be warned that since it is in such close proximity to the LSAT you just took, its doubtful to have much MORE impact than what your score now has. I say that for two reasons:

1.) The real possibility you retake and score around the same point range (167-170) they'll just see that as a normal test aberration.
2.) Let's say you bang out a 177 out of nowhere, it begs the question of what made you get a 167 in the first place and could subtly imply that you don't put forth 100% effort on the first go round with things.

I'm not an admissions officer though, so I'm really just musing here.

Really looking for advice from people who have been through the admission cycles for these schools, or who have been through admissions cycles with similar stats.
