Unless by "personal reasons" you mean that there is some sort of ticking time bomb that you can only defuse with a law degree, I really think that you should reconsider. I took a year off and retook and got some exposure as a paralegal in biglaw, and it was probably the best decision that I ever made.aak67 wrote:i understand that conventionally speaking i should retake, but for personal reasons i dont want to wait for 2017. i would just like to know my chances of rutgers and scholarship info

I am not trying to be a dick. You will thank us someday for saying this.
Agreed. OP, where all did you apply? It seems to me that if you were to apply broadly at the start of next cycle, even without doing anything to improve your stats/resume, you'd have considerably more options: several other schools with money/full rides & quite possibly T-14 acceptance. If you are 100% sure about Rutgers, I wouldn't take anything below a full ride, as your stats warrant that.rwhyAn wrote:You'll get in, and you'll likely get significant scholarship money at Rutgers. You have an excellent GPA, and your LSAT is 1 point below the 75th percentile. That said, it really would be worthwhile for you to retake. I'm a student here, and I like it, but you'll have to realize that your options from RU-N will be limited.
