Quickie- GPA question

Hey- I'm sure this has been addressed many times... just to put my mind at ease:

I graduated with a 2.98 GPA, but I transferred from a much less prestigious school (where I got all As), and so when I used the calculator online, my LSAC GPA comes out to 3.4. (Side note: At the school I graduated from, my GPA has a steady upward trend from my first semester there until my last)

Am I right in saying that, for application purposes, I should proceed with the 3.4 in mind?

I am gunning for the June LSAT now.. you can probably understand that the above is a nagging thought in my head when I go to sleep at night.. I'd like to just clear my mind of this.

Thanks!
