I think the implication was that is LSAT makes him a splitter (OP, it doesn't, you're not a splitter).PoopNpants wrote:ur not a splitter only lsac GPA matters

I think Poop was meaning to put a period or an "and" in between his facts.Clearly wrote:I think the implication was that is LSAT makes him a splitter (OP, it doesn't, you're not a splitter).PoopNpants wrote:ur not a splitter only lsac GPA matters

Understood. However I'm taking the chance that op knew this, and considers himself a traditional splitter on the basis of his real, low gpa, and the mistaken believe that his lsat eclipses that gpa. I submit into evidence the fact that he used 3.3 in the post title. In which way the OP is wrong, we may never know.
Edit to add I'm just having good natured fun in my finals delirium. No offense to op

Yeah, of the two, a 164 is much more impressive (hell, most of our UG classmates probably would have killed to pull that unless you have that ivy pedigree imo) than the GPA.
But, a 164 is not above any of those schools 75th percentiles (splitter means >75th LSAT + <25th GPA). I still think you have a good shot of getting into one of more of the schools you listed, but you will likely qualify for little or no money there.
Think about how much effort you really gave the LSAT and consider retaking it. If you won't do that you have to recognize that big law is unlikely and focus on smaller jobs. The problem there is that those jobs won't allow you to pay off your student loans faster than interest compounds.
If you won't retake and you either (1) have the financial backing of a family member who doesn't mind lighting 5 Beamers on fire OR (2) you are willing to focus completely on networking to get a low-prestige, low-paying, low-appreciation public interest gig then go for it.

For reference
I retook in December, but got into BU today with medium softs (hard science major, heavy mock trial experience and success, consistent employment). 163, 3.35*lsac adjusted, high honors distinction on transcript.
Applied to a few of the same schools as you with my October score. Feeling like I crushed December though so I'll wait before submitting more
