I have some good volunteer and internship stuff and a pretty unique personal statement.

EDIT Dammit I commented before I caught the URM piece. I have no ideas about your odds. Sorry.

You'll get in to both easily

You should also apply to at least Harvard, if not also Yale and Stanford.

They'll be knocking down your door, as you probably already know.

I didn't. That's honestly a huge relief, I'd been sitting here debating whether it was worth even applying.

Does URM make that big a difference?
AnBryce at NYU would be like... living the dream, for me. I'm sure this sounds stupid to you guys who probably know so much more about all this than I do, but I had only just started learning more about how much weight LSAT scores and GPAs had versus what personal statements had to admissions committees this weekend when I started Googling personal statement advice. I started flipping out that I had already wrecked My Entire Future (TM).
You guys, sincerely, thank you.

While it can be hard to quantify, some admissions counselors have said that URM status is equivalent to "as much as" a 10pt bump on the LSAT.

You should certainly strongly consider retaking the LSAT. I think you have a good chance at a lot of great schools already, but breaking 170 would be just phenomenal for you, if it's at all possible.

Thanks for the advice. I will try to take it, as I really don't believe I performed the best I could have when I took that test. How much of a difference could it make? I'm not in the US for the time being and taking it for December might be complicated here.
Edit: Or impossible. Missed the deadline. D'oh. Would it be worth it to wait for a later LSAT, or should I take my chances with this score?
