Target Schools for these numbers (161, 3.43)

I'm going into this cycle with a 3.43 and 161. Was wondering what schools would be good targets for those, goal is to get some scholly to help with debt while not going TTT and I have SoFla ties. Little background about my score, thats the best I could pull out after three tries, for June and October I was Ptesting at 166 and 168 respectively but bombed both. I wont have a retake again until December 2016, it would be my only take that cycle and I have no confidence I can perform on gameday after two disasters, so retaking is somehow less appealing than law school for me.

Why, cause despite putting in hard work and preptesing really high I couldnt perform on game days? I have similar doubts now since this is my first time not doing well on standarized test but I'm inclined to think the LSAT doesnt always indicate how good you will be at actually studying law. If I dont get any offers I like, I will consider sitting out to retake again but it seems nonsensical to give up on law just cause the LSAT beat me.

It matters what school you attend, not just how well you do there. And you have no basis for predicting you will be better then your peers on a forced curve.
Right now you just have shitty options in law because admissions are almost entirely based on numbers.
You need to get that LSAT up to even attend non strong regional schools at an acceptable cost (unless you have outside funding, GI Bill etc)

Can you articulate your goals and state you want to practice in at least?

with 3 takes exhausted UF seems like the way to go if you want to practice in florida, they would give you some money.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess with all the pessimism surrounding the legal profession the only goal in mind would be to be an employed attorney in the private sector. With my numbers big law aint gonna happen unless I get lucky and I can get lucky anywhere. I guess my specific question is; outside of Florida, what is the best school than you guys think I have a shot at decent scholly. For example, any chance at Iowa? etc.
My first choice market was Cali but my epic LSAT failures have made that a dubious prospect at best, seems like I might have a shot at Davis and Irvine but at exorbitant cost or loyola.... As for the Florida schools, do you guys really think UF over UM is the way to go?? Once you take the US News nonsense out of it I feel like they're very similar and Miami is really the only place I would want to live in FL. Plus I'm already a UF alum, gator nation and all that, or do employers only care about where you did LS?

Don't go to Iowa. You are better off going to a lesser (ranking wise) school in an area you actually want to practice. Just because a school is ranked in the Top 25, 50, etc. doesn't mean it will allow you to achieve your goals. If you are dead set on going to law school and becoming a lawyer, go to Florida or Miami. That being said, you also need to understand the extreme risk you are taking. There is no guarantee of employment let alone top grades.
Good luck!

I really would, I dont mind working and studying for the LSAT at all, believe me I know how much of a gamble this LS stuff is and how much that score matters. But I've been there before man, worked hard, scored high on my PT's consistently and just couldnt get it done on game day, happened my second and third try(first time went cold and got a 157). Maybe its that the adrenaline wont let me focus but its literally like you placed another person on the seat. I usually go -6-5 on both LR sections and on test day I'll get -12 or 13. I'm still in shock from Thursday. Furthermore, next cycle I will only have December 2016 to retake. Late in the cycle, and with my history with this test I have no reason to believe I will do much better. I have exhausted nearly all the material, certainly from PT30 and on. It's just a mess.
