160 LSAT 3.7 GPA

Post by greatpicks23 » Sun Oct 04, 2015 6:02 pm

Double major from a top 25 undergraduate school. Only took the LSAT once. Took a year off to work because I wanted to earn money and gain work experience. I am a male and not a URM. If i apply early in the admittance cycle do you think I could get into George Washington, Vanderbilt, Washington University in St. Louis, or possibly Georgetown Binding?

Retake the LSAT for a higher score so that you can get scholarship offers. With your current numbers, think about applying to lower ranked law schools located in the geographic region where you want to practice law. Best to graduate law school debt free.

You didn't answer my question but I appreciate the reply. I already understand the concerns of law school debt, however, would any of these schools be possible?

Sorry that I didn't answer your question. In my opinion, it would be foolish, and very possibly financially devastating, to pay sticker price for any of these law schools. You should be admitted or waitlisted to WashUStL & GWU. Unlikely to be admitted to Vanderbilt or Georgetown with a 160 & non-URM status.
