You're applying ED because you want the stipend, right? I think I've read on here that there's no ED boost in admissions at UT, but if you're going for the stipend it makes sense.
If you've checked out LSN you'll see that you look pretty good for UT, and its easier (I think?) for in-staters to get admitted, so I think you're pretty golden.

Is that your first LSAT score? You might consider retaking to get 170+, since there's almost nothing but green in that range, even with GPAs significantly lower than yours.

Are you sure these situations are the same though? My GPA is almost .3 lower than you, and i'v heard Texas really values GPA.

GPA is well below the 25% Median, and 168 is below the 75% Median........You sure even with ED I still have a good chance? (Not doubting, just asking for assurance)

Check mylsn. You'll likely get more money on scholly than the ED will provide, and ED doesn't give you a boost in admissions, so "even with ED" or "without ED" are unnecessary distinctions.

your GPA is a little lower, but your LSAT is higher (where did you get those pctiles at? 25%GPA is 3.43 and 75% LSAT is 168). Also, rumour has it that admission for Out-of-state applicants (which was my case, it's not yours) are a little higher. I wanna say your chances of getting in are very high (mylsn has you at about 80%)

Unfortunately I have no idea about the ED. At many schools ED is a boost, since you're basically stuck to being full tuition. At UT, however, it includes a 10K stipend per year, meaning the required stats are probably higher. Even if you get in regular decision you're still only looking at In-State tuition, which is much less than you would pay for UCLA or Vandy, for example. If you want to practice in Texas, UT should be a lock for you...

Thank you for the info. If you don't mind me asking, how accurate is this website? Why is this website showing me with upwards of 75% chance of getting in with these numbers, whereas other predictors have me much lower? Which is the most accurate, and is it accurate enough based on your experience?

UT really seemed to loosen up on their GPA standards this last cycle.

Mylsn is the most accurate one. It grabs info from lawschoolnumbers.com and gives you percentages on rejects/accepts. Apply early, have solid statements and recs, and enjoy Austin next year...
