LGBT Ivy Splitter: to ED or not to ED?

Hi all:

Alright, let's cut to the chase. I (like everyone) am hoping for T14. Below are my stats and goal schools. Given that I'm a splitter at some schools and that my GPA isn't perfect, should I consider applying ED? Scholarship money is a factor for me, but it's not absolutely crucial. I'm planning to submit early, so any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Stats:

- 169 LSAT
- 3.41 GPA
- Graduated from Top 5 undergrad (Ivy)
- LGBT (plan on writing diversity statement)
- Have spent last several years working in public interest.

Schools:

U Penn
Georgetown
Duke
U Michigan
UVA
Cornell
Northwestern
UCLA
Vanderbilt

I wouldn't expect the Ivy, LGBT, and work experience factors to make any difference. I would use www.mylsn.info to strategize, I think you'll go as far as your numbers take you just like virtually everyone else.

As a general matter I wouldn't ED to any school besides Northwestern if I cared about scholarship money.

With your numbers I'd just apply everywhere and see what happens.

Do NOT ED. You will be surprised what RD admits and money you will end up with. Blanket 4-14 and collect your money. This is a CLEAR CUT NO ED.
