3.05 178 LSAT, t14 possible?

So I took the June LSAT and got a 178. Studied my butt off because I knew i had to makeup for my awful uGPA.
I started off pre-med as forced by my parents which destroyed my GPA due to my lack of interest, care, and sight of my future. Eventually I switched out to pre-law and have maintained a 3.7 GPA since i ACTUALLY enjoyed working for the future i had ahead of me as an attorney. 4 semesters of this only brought me up to around 3.05. To spare the details my extracurriculars and experience are superb. The only weak element of my application is the GPA for which i think i have a decent reason to make an addendum.
I've been looking for profiles like mine, but I havent found anything yet so i decided to post this on my own! I just want some opinions on whether i can get into HS (prob not Y) and other t14s.
Thanks friends,

Apply to the entire t14, probably minus Y and S. I think you'll definitely get some good offers. Practice your narrative for any interview opportunities you get.

I'd be careful about the addendum. Law school and legal practice include a number of tasks that are notoriously boring and/or seemingly irrelevant, and saying you didn't do well because you weren't interested can look like a maturity issue. Blaming other people for your GPA can also seem immature, even if it's accurate. It would be one thing if you had a few years of work experience, but coming straight from undergrad will make maturity a legitimate factor. So write the addendum to demonstrate that you have learned and matured and are willing to accept responsibility.
Good luck!

You won't get H, Y, or S. It's not happening. I think your stellar LSAT will ensure at least a few t14 offers, and probably some more off of the wait list. Apply very broadly and include strong regional schools and non t14 schools very strong in the region you'd like to practice

Thx guys. I plan on practicing international law, so i was looking for the west or east coast to apply.
To clarify i wasn't planning on attributing my GPA to others or non-motivation, but rather that it was a period in my life where I had no path. At least in law school i might find some subjects boring, but i know where success in that class will get me. My 1st year and a half of school I had no idea what i was doing with my life and really had no motivation with nothing to strive towards. Once i gained this law school goal is when i had a 4.0 to sems in a row and maintained around a 3.7. Regardless I will word the addendum carefully. thx for the tip!
I've worked abroad for a summer in China, fluent in English, Spanish (URM) and intermediate Chinese. I also worked for an international non-profit around 30hrs a week throughout the school year and summer for the last two years. Idk if that would qualify as any work exp. What you guys think?

There's a limit to how much we can predict for someone with your specific situation. That said, being an URM will definitely help. If you're set on applying this fall, go ahead and do it. Getting rejected isn't the end of the world. I've been rejected by Colombia three times (!). I'm still going somewhere great with a half tuition scholarship. You just have to wait and see what happens. I'd definitely apply to Harvard in your situation, maybe even Stanford and Yale because YOLO. The worst they can say is no.

You have two options, in my opinion, 1) blanket the T-14 & 2) work for 2 years and then blanket the T-14.
Splitters are difficult to predict & depend upon factors outside of your control to a large extent. Nevertheless, because you are a URM with an outstanding LSAT score & a rising GPA through your college years & your background experiences & abilities are unusually strong, you might get some great offers of admission from the top half of the T-14 law schools.
NYU might be a great target school if you are committed to PI (public interest) work. NYU offers a lot of substantial scholarships (most have separate scholarship applications) for those wishing to pursue PI work after law school.

Yeah you'd for sure get into a few of the bottom t14 but the higher ones are unpredictable

You should not write an addendum. Other addendums will include things like the death of a parent, battling a terminal illness while going through undergrad, severe mental illness, etc.
And you should bag some T-14s for sure. I had worse stats (3.23, 173) and was applying in a more challenging cycle and bagged a few.
