Top Law Schools

Good evening all.

I scored a 176 on the June LSAT, which I know puts me pretty well above most 75ths. But because of my GPA, 3.72, mylsn.info puts me at pretty small odds to make it to Stanford, which would be the dream.

I attended a top 40 school and my GPA was in the top 20%. I have about 4 years of military experience but otherwise normal softs. Non URM.

Do I have a shot at HYS, especially Stanford?

I appreciate any thoughts.

ETA: Got into Harvard, waitlisted at Yale and Stanford. Just in case someone comes across this thread in the future, that is how my cycle ended up.

I'd figure you're in at H and probably one of YS.

I think there's a thread that helps military-veteran applicants. They'd probably be able to provide better answers.

This is a great soft, and I think will surely get you somewhere in the top 3.

If you tailor your app to express a desire to do something more than just big law (politics, further military service, high government role, etc.), it could be very helpful too because of how interesting those jobs are and your high chance of getting one by virtue of your military service.

I would say you have a solid shot at H and a decent chance at S and a very slim chance at Y
