The bolded is probably not true. If it is, you might be in the range but still probably not.lunixer wrote:Hi.
Just got my June LSAT.
My scores are 165 (February), 170 (June)
I have a 3.75 uGPA, and a 4.0 grad GPA.
I have really good softs and an impressive work history.
So I'm posting this thread for two reasons:
1) Should I retake the test? I was scoring 176-179 regularly on my practice tests, but bombed the logic games this time around. I'm concerned about this because I know that Harvard/Yale frown on multiple takes and honestly I'm not terribly confident in my ability to score higher.
2) Would hiring an admissions counselor help me?
I think that I'm pretty much a shoo-in at Columbia, but other than that I'm pretty disappointed in the 170.
uhh, no.lunixer wrote:Hi.

Unless there is something extremely unique about you that you haven't mentioned yet, you were extremely lucky to be accepted with your 165. The 170 does not make you a shoo-in...it will probably just keep you in contention. Also, If you are accepted, it will probably be at a cost that is difficult to defend. If your goal is HYS or CCNP at a deep discount, you should retake.lunixer wrote:I was accepted with my 165. Which makes me a shoo-in with a 170.Nathanael wrote:uhh, no.lunixer wrote:Hi.
