Does it matter where in the upper 3.6's I fall?

Hey,

I am a senior finishing up and if I get all A's with taking 11 hours in the summer and 16 in the the fall I can finish up with a 3.67 by December

Would I gain anything by taking a cheap community college extra courses to get more A's?

I would say not because myLSN doesn't seem to indicate any upwards movement......It seems there is hardly any differences in the 3.65-3.7 range......The only way I could get a 3.7 overall is I i took 12 additional hours ( which would be hard to fit in to the schedule listed above and of course by taking that many, I jeopardize getting a B),

Moreso asking this for T14 schools outside Y and S ( as there are some GPA floors you have to cross even with a stellar LSAT)

3.7 is a nice threshold to cross but it probably wouldn't make much difference and isn't worth bending over backwards for. Anywhere in the upper 3.6s should treat you well with a strong LSAT.

Agreed, ...it seems based off what I've read a 3.6 gives you slim chances for a Berkeley, Chicago, or Harvard..and if I get it up over a 3.65 I have a fighting chance with a great LSAT.....It seems moving up from 3.6 to 3.65 has more of a positive upwards impact than moving within the 3.65-3.7 range which has minimal impact ( so not worth the extra effort)

I don't plan on taking the LSAT until after graduation from UG because I do not want to interfere with the GPA since the GPA is a on time chance, so there isn't a need to worry about any conflict between the two.
( but the time and effort argument of adding these extra courses not required for my degree could still be valid)
