4.00 GPA and T14

I have a 4.00 gpa from a city school with a few internships and other softs. I have been PTing in the low to mid 160s, with a BR score of 170+. I'm taking the LSAT in October and I still have 30 PTs to take. I'm hoping to improve to 170+, but what LSAT score is likely needed to get into a T14. Please not: I'm inquiring about acceptances, not acceptances with $$$. Will my 4.00 give me a boost with UVA (ED?), Penn, Berkeley, etc. if I score in the mid 160s, which is my worst-case scenario?

Agree, except that his softs aren't very typical (from

I had a drug problem when I was a teenager and ended up stealing to support my habit. I was charged with Attempted Robbery in the 1st degree when I was 14, and the judge sealed my record. I was also charged with 3 armed robberies (with a gun. Yes, I know, it looks terrible) when I was 17, but the judge sealed my record and granted me Youthful Offender status, due to the fact that I rehabilitated myself.
I dropped out of high school due to the drug problem, but once I cleaned myself up, I got my GED, attended community college and graduated with a 3.97 gpa, am attending a four-year college and am currently maintaining a 4.00 gpa. It will be 6 and a half years since the incident by the time I apply to law school. I have been scoring in the mid 160s and anticipate an increase to at least the high 160s (167+). My question is as follows: Withstanding my situation and past, do I have a shot at a T14 school (NYU, PENN, Cornell, Columbia GTown) if my numbers are stellar and I write a really great personal statement about how I overcame obstacles? Or will my past hinder my chances at admission, even though my record is completely sealed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Serious comments only, please.
OP, I don't know what good help you expect to get by starting this thread and leaving out potential issues you chose to include in two other threads. Yes, with a perfect history, a 4.00 with a mid-160s LSAT would probably get you a few T14 acceptances. A 170+ would get you more.
I have no idea how the other stuff will affect acceptances though. I assume it will in some cases and not in others.

I do not have to disclose my history to certain law schools (UVA, Georgetown, Michigan, Berkeley, Stanford, Duke, Harvard and Yale). I only need to disclose it to NYU, Columbia, Cornell, Penn, Chicago and Northwestern.
Then I think you're going to be in damn good shape. Don't start letting it creep into your mind that a 165/6 would be ok because of your GPA. Drill like you're 173 or bust and go out there and scoop a fully.
And good on ya for turning yourself around.

+1. Get into the 170s and your options will be great. Your BR scores indicate a 170+ is very doable for you, so don't let yourself be satisfied until you get there. Also, don't ED.
