You'll have better luck with a higher lsat. I'd start focusing on studying for a retake. Play around with the link above to see where you need to score for better outcomes.

Despite the certainties above, it's not guaranteed OP. I know a URM this cycle (albeit late applicant) with significantly higher scores on both metrics who got straight dinged by them.

Def think the odds are in your favor for "getting in," but at what price is the real question. If you can get that LSAT up, you could go to Cornell without it being a reckless financial decision. Definitely get that LSAT up.

Nah this is bad advice. Far from a guarantee.

Here is an lsn profile with very similar stats + hispanic

Should definitely retake. Sticker at Cornell isn't pretty.

UMich?

Any input appreciated.

Please don't look for excuses not to retake. Aim for your dream school, Cornell, with big money. I won't comment about your admission chances to these other schools, but I doubt, as is, that you will get much, if any, money from them if you are admitted.

P.S. Michigan would be an acceptable substitute, with a decent scholarship of course, for Cornell. Either could probably get you to California provided that you either (1) do well and have ties or (2) do really well.

Yeah going from a 161 to a 168-169 would have you go from getting dinged at Cornell to prolly looking at some pretty $$$

Chances aren't good aside from Fordham maybe?

Don't go to Fordham unless you're getting $$$ and want to practice in NY. Even then it's probably not a good idea depending on your goals, esp. since retake --> money at Cornell is feasible
