Everyone is going to tell you that practice tests aren't indicative of what you'll actually score. Beast the test then worry about why Harvard accepted you after.

Why does it sound odd exactly?? Have you looked at the percentile distribution?? Also, are you taking PTs under test conditions? Your post comes across as insincere. Also, Harvard is far from a guarantee with a 172, just so you know

Plus, anyone that has taken high school statistics can tell you that the mylsn numbers are tiny samples of data and non-exhaustive. I wouldn't base application decisions on mylsn

172 may do it, but saying "that's well within my practice range" means absolutely nothing. People routinely test below average. The real deal is different from your practice, so don't make projections about yourself until you have a concrete, reportable LSAT score.

Thanks for the advice. I just can't help thinking two steps ahead!

By you stating that it just doesn't sound right. It reads as if you want to tell us that you can score 172, which is a great score. Those numbers are viable for Harvard. Generally, anything above 170 gives you a shot, assuming a stout GPA. But to reiterate the other reply, take a real test and get a real score, then go from there.

Unfortunately it doesn't sound right because it isn't right. 172 is below median for H and pair that with KJD (I think around 75% of the class has at minimum a year of work experience) and you'd be far from a lock (though you'd be in everywhere else you listed, most likely). Just try to get as high as possible, if you hit their 75th percentile with your GPA then you are pretty much good to go. Also, don't give up on Yale: your GPA is high and if your LSAT doesn't discount you then why not give it a shot? Odds are bad for everyone, which is another way of saying you have as good a shot as anyone! Hope you kill the test OP!

The problem with this post is trying to determine a score that he/she needs to get into these schools, as he/she requested. The bottom line is that we cannot determine any of those things. Plus, there's no real LSAT score yet. Kill the LSAT, keep your GPA above 3.9, and then flip a coin.

Cart before horse. You are an applicant with a 3.95 and an 1xx LSAT score. There are thousands just like you currently, and very few will go to Harvard. Ace the test first, then apply.

Why isn't myLSN very indicative?...I would argue it very much falls in line with the Standard 509 reports and other admissions data.

Is myLSN perfect? No.....but it is very useful
