Surprised with the Lions pick, since Akron is the bottle of the barrel. I did look the guy up and he had several internships with NFL teams before landing the position though.

I'm not the least bit surprised that Yale isn't represented.

Could we get one of these for mlb/nhl as well? I'm interested. I actually think both the DFW teams are SMU, but im not positive.

Not that surprising, given the last name. Dykema is a huge firm in Michigan and that family has quite a bit of juice statewide. Also, Dykema represents Ford (Bill Ford owns the Lions), which provides further evidence as to what's really going on there– despite going to Akron, Jon Dykema is very well connected.

Yale may be represented here. Thinking Richard Cass serves as GC for the Ravens since he is the only attorney listed on the team's front office page. He's a YLS grad.

Wouldn't surprise me if Mike Brown was the GC of the Bengals, given that he was both the GM/GC in the past and is still GM, refusing to hire an actual professional. He's an HLS grad.

Kansas City is without a GC for the time being– Woodie Dixon (HLS) must've just jumped ship for the Pac 12, because he still appears on the Chiefs website.

I need to stop amusing myself with this and finish my Note....

Thanks, it's added. I put Dick Cass, because that's what he has on his Linkedin..... no need for immature jokes, I'm just saying that would be a fun name to say over an airport telecom.

He's got a good quote in an article about the allure of being an in-house lawyer for an NFL team; ""Part of the fascination is that people love sports and want to be involved in something they love," says Richard Cass of his move in-house to the Baltimore Ravens. "It's just more exciting.""

It's good to be Dick Cass.

Who doesn't love a good DickCass joke.
