What are my chances at New York Law School, NYLS, with a 2.7 GPA and a 160 LSAT? I've looked at the job prospects, just chance me.

Dozens of higher ranked law schools with better placement stats will give you scholarship money for your 160 (assuming that there are no significant background issues such as multiple convictions for aggressive or dishonest behavior).
Where do you want to live & work after law school ?

I'd like New York. I don't think I have any real chance at Brooklyn.

you're below the 25th percentile gpa, but just barely
you're 6 points above the 75th percentile lsat
so this means likely admit
now that the correct answer has been given, there is no further reason to engage the troll

I'm being dead serious. I thought it was an almost auto admit and that I'd take a shot at Brooklyn, but then i started looking at law school numbers etc. and thought I may be in some trouble.

Consider UConn & the University of Maryland & Seton Hall. You should have a good shot at being admitted to Brooklyn. Rutgers-Newark. Villanova & Syracuse.
Rutgers-Camden may offer significant scholarship money. Albany if you want to work upstate in a state government position.

You should be an auto-admit at NYLS. The real issues are COA & job prospects (unless headed to a family firm).
The schools that I listed should get OP some scholarship money & negotiating leverage while staying in the Northeast.

Why in the world would you want to attend NYLS. I wouldn't go there if they gave me a full ride + stipend. Your GPA is pretty bad, but distance yourself from it a bit, get a 165+, and you'd have a fair shot at much better schools (ie, those who can give you legit chances for legal employment) with some money.
Here:
http://www.lstscorereports.com/schools/newyork/
44% shot at becoming a lawyer, a roughly 7% chance at getting a fed clerkship or a big law gig. I'm not advocating those two as the only reason for doing law, BUT, with your grades you'd have to take out massive amount of debt, and you'd have about a 7% shot at actually servicing the debt.
in short, don't do it.
