Is myLSN too optimistic for H? 3.6

Hey,
I was wondering how representative these myLSN numbers are for H?
I don't want to get my hopes up but it seems like I have slightly less than a 50/50 at H if I get a Killer LSAT....I was a bit confused since my GPA would be well below H's lower 25% but I would still have a decent shot to at least throw out an app

Already in the high 160's low 170's on PT's.....the next goal is to set a timetable for the exam.
Earliest I would i would take is in October 2015

Not saying it is going to happen , but I think I is at least feasible I could get an H type of score since I am 8 months out from the LSAT at minimum

what reason do you have for thinking lsn would be any less reliable for those particular (fictional) numbers?

Take the lsat. Then come back.
Many people PT >175 for all of their PTs but then struggle on test day. Getting a score >175 is very, very difficult. Just trying to keep it real.
Best of luck studying. I will say its much easier to get to the high 160s/low 170s than it is to get from there to the high 170s. Best of luck!

I think the biggest factor would be your undergrad. State flagship/nationally known "brand" undergrad and you'd probs be in. Something like Oregon State, probably not.
That's just my gut.
And you have a LONG way to go before you score that high.

right
any idiot can PT low 170s with enough work. Take it from a dude who couldn't do it, OP: Getting past that hump is less "it's a learnable test" and more "i'm an actual smart person"

Is H and a 175 a good goal to aim for though?
Or should my goals be more modest in say a 170 and T14? My bottom floor at which I would not retake is an acceptance to UT Austin ( i am from TX so i would be interested in that, so i would likely be looking at a 167-68 minimum or retake)

Your goal should be 180. There's no reason to get anything wrong on this test. But just do your best and work your hardest and then get a score and apply and go to a school. People always trying to pick their school, then pick their lsat score lol It doesn't work like that.

You should anticipate scoring anywhere from 1-5 points lower than your PT's when you take the actual test. I was consistently scoring 172-175 on my PT's, and then I took home a 170 on test day. Most of the people I've spoken to experienced a similar several point drop. I'm not saying you won't be able to get the score you want, but I wouldn't take PT's as evidence that you'll likely get there.
Also, this is kind of early to be studying for the October LSAT. I'd say my biggest regret for the LSAT was that I started studying for the June LSAT in January. By the time I reached the test, I felt burnt out. I had taken EVERY practice test! Maybe think about starting June or July.
