Applied to FSU a few weeks back. It's one of my top choices for law school among my list. I'm looking for some input as to my chances of being admitted. I'm not the best test taker (As evident from my SAT'S)
*App Info*
3.88 Finance major from FIU
149 LSAT (December '14 was my 3rd try)
Excellent LOR from solid professors (3)
Almost 3 years of WE
Strong PS.
Let me know!

Sorry to say, it doesn't look good. FSU admitted no applicants with an LSAT below 150 in the last three years.

What kind of Hispanic are you? Only a few groups get the benefit of URM status. Even assuming you're Caribbean/Mexican and would get the URM benefit, you are at an LSAT too low to realize the true benefit of URM status. As much of a numbers game that law school is, upstanding law schools aren't going to admit you if they don't think you can effectively compete against the curve. The 149 with your great GPA suggests there might be a bit of a language difficulty.
You need to retake. If you're located in one of our areas, we can assist you for a relatively low cost compared with other places (

How long before you can take it again, itskevin? How long ago was your first try?
Solid RC fail there, teach.

Didn't seem like you took the advice from your last thread to heart.

If you had a 152 as you stated in your last thread, that's the score that will count for application purposes, even if you got a lower score the second time round.

What kind of WE do you have that it's 3 years despite only being 20 years old?

The truth if you are URM then you are 10 points from cracking the t-14 with money. You're currently in the range where TTT's recruit from. Recruiting uninformed URM's is the bread and butter of many of the TTT schools. Your GPA is above the median of almost every school. You just have to get the LSAT over a 150. When good schools see a 149 high, they're going to be scared off.

OP stated in a previous thread that he is Cuban, so thus not URM.
