hi all! i took the june lsat (169) and was hoping to break 170+ on the sept lsat, but just found out i got a rather disappointing 166. i've signed up to take the dec lsat (fingers crossed). i have a 3.93 GPA, and i'm aiming for t14.

my 169 (and 166) is below chicago and nyu's median of 170, but my gpa is above. i want to maximize the advantage of applying early, but i don't want to jeopardize my application if my numbers are too low. i'm asian-american, straight out of undergrad, regular softs. should i go ahead and apply now, or wait for retake? what would be my chances? (i already checked lsn but i would love some advice, especially with the lower 2nd time lsat and app timing)

Lower lsat probably won't matter

Definitely retake again

You'll be looking at pretty big money from every T14 with a median of 169 and lower. That's a better outcome than CCN at sticker or a slight discount. Retake for a shot at HYS or bigger money from CCN

If you really want CCN, i would say ED at Chicago with your numbers. However, retaking or money at a lower t14 would be the better choice depending on the law you want to practice
