As thread title says pretty much. GPA is 3.66. First LSAT take was 160, second was 167. Feel like I have a few more points in me, but low 170s is probably a ceiling, plus retake isn't an present for a variety of reasons.
Potentially relevant softs
-have an MA in English, master's GPA was 3.95
-have taught at multiple colleges and universities for 6 years - mostly composition, some lit courses, critical thinking, research, film, etc.
-research assistant for a collected works project
-honor's thesis and master's thesis
Do I have a chance at Duke and money? Or am I looking at sticker? Any T14 with money? What are my best options for a full ride somewhere in T1?

I got into Duke priority track two cycles ago with almost the same exact situation (degrees, work experience, first and second lsat scores) but my GPA was about .1 higher. I'm sure I would have faced sticker or close to it if I didn't pull out a few more points on my 3rd take. Definitely retake if you want to go to Duke.NoOneImportant wrote:As thread title says pretty much. GPA is 3.66. First LSAT take was 160, second was 167. Also, T1 is a meaningless distinction, the only schools that make sense are ones that place well into your desired region/type of job you want and are at a reasonable price.

outside shot at duke
if in, sticker
out at hys, ccn, penn, uva, berkeley
below both medians and above both 25ths at mich and nu
between 25th/median lsat and at gpa 25th at duke
at lsat median and between 25th/median gpa at gulc
at both medians (basically) at cornell
gulc/cornell is your best bet
probably no money, maybe a little from cornell (47.7% receive grants, $10/$15/$25k yearly 25th/50th/75th, average for your stats is 26% at $16.6k yearly)

Probably in at Michigan & Duke due, in part, to your MA in English & teaching experience. As for money, they'll "give" you all the loans that you can justify. Apply to Cornell. Outside of the T-14 law schools, expect lots of acceptances with lots of scholarship money.
