3.69 / 167 (urm) T5?

Applying to law schools this fall and I'd like to know if I have a shot at any of the T5. Any input is much appreciated :)

GPA: 3.69
LSAT: 167
Institution: UC Berkeley (4th year)
Race: African-American
Gender: Male
Work Experience: Full-time during freshman and sophomore year, and now currently part time.

EC's:
- President of History Club (history is my major) during my sophomore year.
- Current Vice President of my university's LGBTQ pre-law organization.
- Current Events Director of my fraternity.
- Lots of HIV/AIDS advocacy within the gay community since high school.

Misc: Over the summer, I took two (international law) classes as part of a study abroad program through a Midwest law school (aced both courses with letter of rec. from a dean of the law school). Fluent in 4 languages.

I know my GPA/LSAT is pretty low for the T5, so is retaking the LSAT a good idea?

Gay Male AA with a 166/3.7?

I suspect you'll have a decent cycle.

Best Guess:
In at H, good shot at YS, tons of cash in the lower T14.

Nah, but a 3.69 is pretty much a 3.7

NYU has by far the top international law program in the country and I am definitely applying there.

Don't apply to NYU its ranked sixth and thus falls outside your t-5 ranking range.

Serious answer: apply to the T-13* follow the money. If you do apply to NYU and your a first gen student then apply to their Anbryce program. Are you also low SES? Cuz if so then HYS will give you need based grants and you'll receive plenty of $$$ from the other T-13 schools.

*The T-14 is no longer a thing, GULC needs to get its shit together.

OP, common sense markers for arbitrary cutoffs are going to be things like Top 5, Top 10, Top 20, Top 50 but for purposes of TLS the cutoffs are the top 3 (usually just referred to as HYS since saying T3 is easily confused with Tier 3 or TTT) followed by T6 (aforementioned 3 plus Columbia chicago and nyu) then T13 (+Penn Virginia michigan Boalt Duke Northwestern Cornell) and T14 (+Georgetown).

Also don't say anything about wanting "international law" if you ever want people to take you seriously

OP you should have more refined goals. I even had a prof talk about how practicing international law isn't a real thing.
