3.67/172 Second Opinion

Hello all - I am a non-URM 3.67 GPA 172 LSAT, two years good work experience.

I'm looking for a second take, because as I've looked through the boards my borderline GPA is making me second-guess my assessment. I'm worried that my "middling" GPA will hurt my chances to get in at T6 and kill my chances to get $ from most of the T14.

I'm judging it as:
Out HYS
Coin flip CCN
In at the rest of the T14, maybe $$ from the lower ones.

Sound right? Is it worth shooting an app to HYS at all? Is it a pipe dream to hope for some $ from U Chicago or NYU?

Thanks-

I think your LSAT will carry good weight with CCN. It's at or right around the 75%.
I would shoot off apps to H & S, because I would always have the "what if" thoughts if I didn't.

Since you're going to apply to all these schools anyway and mylsn exists, what is it that TLS can do for you here?

Your assessment sounds about right, although you will not get into Berkeley IMO. Enjoy a school like Duke and stop worrying about your "middling" GPA you silly billy.

Thanks. Maybe nothing. It's on the south side of the median for all the T14 is all.

I looked at mylsn. Like I said, I was just looking for a second opinion.

That's all, folks!

3.6ish/173 here

I was out at HYS
WL at CC (But I'm confident I could have got in off Columbia's, fwiw)
In at NYU with $

My gpa was below 3.6 when I applied. I think with a strong app you can def get all of CCN, and I'd apply to H for sure too.

YS probably not happening but #YOLO
