Ended up with a 3.66 LSDAS GPA -- 3.75 GPA (post-transfer), 3.95 Major GPA -- with a 168 LSAT. I am planning on retaking for 170, but weighting my options now.

I have 2 years of experience working in NYC government, Mayor's Office, 6 months at a community-based nonprofit with immigrant rights, advocacy, social services, grassroots organizing, 1 year teaching as an educator at a museum, with 3 years sitting on a board of a national nonprofit. I will also have finished my MA right before law school, but after the app cycle.

I am a Vietnamese AA male. Parents were refugees/boatpeople which inspires my interest in immigration/crim law. While I believe that does not qualify me as URM, would my background have any positive spins on my application?

Thanks in advance!

by aa i assume you mean asian american
you are correct, you do not qualify as a urm
your background could make for an interesting ps or diversity statement, but i would not expect you to outperform your numbers

apply broadly
good odds at cornell and gulc
and you'll probably snag another lower t14 or two (mich, duke)
