(Likely)Reverse Splitter Question for upcoming cycle

Hey everyone,

With applications opening next weekend and my mind racing with a million hypotheticals, I am trying to determine where(of these schools) I need to be applying given what I am expecting of myself-to land as a reverse splitter(Hopefully i am not selling myself short).
Assuming the answer is not retake as I am registered for December if I am not happy with september, and things stay as is, what are my chances at the following schools assuming I am at or above the 75% gpa mark(3.84) and at the 25% or below for lsat with TFA and solid softs..
Practice tests have been anywhere from 154(very early in prep)-164(now) and I think given a favorable test i.e. rc section I can crack a 168.

UPENN
UVA
Vandy
UT-Austin
WUSTL

After that there is a signifcant drop off

UNC
UGA
BC
William and Mary
Wake

P.S. I'm not talking so much about scholarships just where I actually have a pretty decent shot at getting into. Thank you so much!

The boards gonna tell you to take until you get a 168+... just fyi.

In other words, there should really be no such thing as a "reverse splitter" come application time, especially non URM. The GPA is a much harder thing to be above 75% than the LSAT. If you're a "reverse splitter" you need to keep taking until you arent.

I was expecting that and that's why i put a december refrain in but i guess im just wondering, statistically speaking how do those type of applicants do at said schools...Hope this clarifies original post.

Though i am still expecting a sea of retakes lol. thanks ilb

I was a reverse splitter last cycle. Managed to get waitlisted at 4 T14's and get into some of the other schools you mentioned. But I retook in June went way up and came off the waitlists with $$$. I am certain that without the new score I would have remained on the waitlists all summer. Do not settle for less than 168. Use all of your attempts if you need to.
