i am an AA female who attended an HBCU (being that law school students are predominantly white, i think being an HBCU grad is unique.)

right now the two schools i am highly interested in are new york law school and loyola law school.

i have some LOR's that are really good, a pretty decent ps and a year of w.e (manager at fortune 200 company and my own buisness) in addition to an okay resume.

have considered retaking in sept and know i can do better but i work 7-7pm, do not have very much time for studying, but if enough people say i NEED to retake i will.

let me know what you think PLEASE!

Hello,

The first time I took an LSAT for practice was a few months ago, I took the June 2007 LSAT and got a 145.

The last time I took an LSAT for practice, I took the December 2007 LSAT and got a 163.

I haven't even taken the LSAT yet, so there are PLENTY of bigger and better increases on this site than me.

But the point is that the LSAT is learnable if you put the work in. As Tea said, please retake, and put in some good study hours. There are great guides on this site to get you started. Good luck!

Retake...even with that GPA you can still go to a T-6 if you put the work in!

You MUST retake!
With your URM status, a score in the low to mid 160s could even land you an admission in a few top 20 schools.

retake that lsat, your score is terrible and any law school you get into is not worth attending
