Not true at all. Please retake. We have similar GPAs and I got several full ride offers from strong regionals. The schools you can get into with those numbers will not be worth attending at their current prices.

What do you mean by special interest law? And what do you plan to do with a specialization in constitutional law? Not trying to be a dick, but what constitutional law jobs do you think are available for freshly minted grads?

Theres a cool entertainment law program at the University of Miami. I had similar scores to you, I got a 161 LSAT and I got a pretty great scholly.

Retake, and make sure three more years of school are a solid choice for you. Law school outcomes, even from great schools, are unpredictable. You're capable of a very high LSAT: most are with practice.

Retake or don't go

I'd retake, but if not target:

UIUC, Iowa, Wisconsin, IU-B, and tOSU, in that order for Chicago

Cardozo and maybe Fordham (reach) for NY.

North Carolina, Wake Forest, Washington and Lee, George Mason, and Maryland for DC

I doubt either BC or BU will be available to you with a 160. There are no other schools worth going to in Boston. So cross that off your list unless you retake.

Safety Schools: Penn State, Rutgers, IIT-Kent, Loyola-Chicago, SUNY, and CUNY

You'll need to be T-14 to have good odds in NY or DC. Honestly none of the schools I listed for DC will give you a good chance of practicing there, but they're at least close regionally. The midwest regionals will probably give you the best bang for your buck at 160.

I got really solid scholarship offers with a 160/3.2, however I would suggest retaking if you possibly can. I was in a position where I had to go this year or not at all.

If you can hit 163 you'll be in great shape, but honestly no one here will tell you that. For TLS approval you'll need a 3.5/167 minimum.

Also you're not going to work in Constitutional or Special Interest law unless you're going to HYS.
