Hey everyone! Third time is the charm apparently but I'm wondering if you have any idea how much the other two will hold me back?

Feb 2013: 166
Feb 2014: 168
June 2014:177

LSAC gpa: 3.83 from a good but not elite school
Non-urm
Decents softs and work experience but nothing exceptional

Thanks!

Congrats on the awesome retake bump! Nice.

It's pretty much agreed upon that all schools (besides MAYBE HYS) just use your top score.

Regardless, apply to all of the T14, put the work in on the essays, resume, interviews, etc. and see what happens. You'll get mad fee waivers so you might as well apply to at least 10 schools for comparison/negotation purposes.

Good luck!

I believe conventional wisdom is that YLS and SLS (maybe HLS, but less so because of its size) are really the only schools that might care about retakes, but even there retakes shouldn't necessarily be a deal-breaker.

Take a look at this LSN profile -- her stats are super similar to yours and she had an awesome cycle!

Congrats on the retake and good luck with applications!
