Retake is only answer here. If you are not available for retaking, you are clearly unavailable for doing the work necessary to become a lawyer. Sorry. No such thing as cannot retake.

The wall of text to try and get around having a 164 was nifty to read but unfortunately none of that will really matter all that much for admissions purposes (hopefully it'll help when it comes time to get a job).
For admissions it's all about LSAT/GPA and special stuff like military experience, URM status, Rhodes Scholarship, things like that.
Retake if you want the T14. Not retaking when you have 3 more opportunities for the upcoming cycle would make no sense at all.

Don't waste that 3.87. Retake it's not that hard

Of course a retake is the next sensible step. What are my chances at Cornell and NW now?

Poor.
And if you do get in, you'll owe ~$215K more at the start of repayment than you would at these schools or somewhere comparable or better with a 172+ (likely ED full-tuition scholarship at Northwestern with a 172).

I mean, I'm reading between the lines a little bit here but even the idea that you might be 'yield-protected' at CLS with a 3.87 is kind of cracking me up.
You have to retake and you should really break 173 to make CLS any kind of viable option financially.

In my case, what would be minimum for Georgetown/Cornell acceptance? 165/6?
What LSAT score will I need to get some money from G/C?

Please use this instead of continuing to ask dumb questions. We will tell you exactly what you find in this link and you shouldn't be going to GC with that GPA anyway, which is also what we will tell you.

Whoops. Read MA in title assumed it was referring to URM status. Retake is the answer then. Good luck!
